Question for authors.
Particularly self published children's book authors.
Would you cut two pages out to make space for a pronunciation guide, or add an extra spread of four pages, bringing the length up from 32 to 34?
Another consideration is that if we remove two words, we would have to re-do the audiobook to match.
And if we don't remove two words, the pronunciation guide will be more compact than the rest of the series (currently 3 neat rows).
What do you think in terms of enjoyability, would would a 34 page book be too long?
Age range is approx 0-4.
