What's on your bucket list? I remember when 'writing a book' was on my bucket list. I always thought that I would write a technical book. Something about digital marketing analytics. But, I was inspired by my half-Columbian friend Fiona and her desire to teach her son Spanish and English. As I had been trying to learn Spanish for years, it made me think how much of an advantage it would be to learn from such a young age. I wrote that first book for Harry, but my 3 year old loved reading it with me when I was working on it. I thought other people might like it too. I've taught my son lots of useful words, animal names, and now some really random words for Halloween! He's not keen on the language learning journal colour, so I'll be making another soon. Maybe red, pink or dark blue. It's funny how your goal may look very different to how you imagine it.
